The main difference from the flagship models is the camera. In the budget smartphones between 300 to 400 dollars usually, they don’t offer us a more expensive solution. Recently iPhone released its iPhone XS, after that we decided to compare the device with Android competitors. This article has a video of Jerome Ortega. It is a blind test iPhone XS, Pixel 2 XL, Galaxy S9+ and OnePlus 6.
In truth, this blind test was a surprise. Firstly, there is not much difference between the three devices. There is good lighting in all the scenes; in fact, only one conclusion can be drawn from this – good lighting will not allow us to understand exactly how much the cameras of the flagship devices differ.
Secondly, in this situation, OnePlus 6, which very often was slightly better than the more expensive competitors, was most surprised. For example, a photo of OnePlus 6 with a bicycle seemed extremely attractive to me.
It’s amazing how the $ 520 smartphone is able to compete with 1000-1500 dollars smartphone. But very soon the company will introduce OnePlus 6T, which will have a more attractive camera.
Thirdly, Pixel 2 XL shots almost all was dark. Some shots from this smartphone still turned out attractive.
A bit biased in this testing is to use the Galaxy S9 +. Since not so long ago, Note 9 was introduced, the camera is significantly better than the previous smartphone. However, S9 + did a good job anyway.
