About 1% of the profit was divided among 600 producers
For Apple, it does not matter how many smartphones it sells against the background of its competitors. The main thing is how much profit the company receives on each realized device.
Fresh data from the research company Counterpoint indicate that the profit of manufacturers in the smartphone market in the second quarter increased by 4%. First of all, it happened thanks to the Chinese manufacturers who produce not only affordable but also premium smartphones, including Oppo Find X, Vivo, and Huawei P20 Pro, which are in the same price category with the iPhone.
However, in terms of profit growth in the second quarter, Xiaomi (+ 747%) hurled the most, followed by Huawei (+ 107%), Vivo (+ 24%) and OPPO (+ 23%).
However, 62% of profits in the smartphone market in the second quarter was received by Apple. Samsung is in second place with 17%. Then follow Huawei (8%), Oppo (5%), Vivo (4%) and Xiaomi (3%).
The remaining 1% of profit was divided among themselves by 600 producers.
