Manufacturers of smartphones on Android often advertise their devices with the help of celebrities. The idea is excellent, but there are overlays when idols of millions hire PR people, and those publish photos through the iPhone. Now this problem was touched by Google itself.
Now the corporation is promoting Pixel 2 XL with the help of Indian actress Anushka Sharma: she published her photos taken on this smartphone on Twitter. Blogger Marcus Brownlee checked the last post and found out that the actress had published it from an iPhone application.
It can be assumed that this is the error of her PR specialists since such situations have already been a thousand times. It’s really possible, but why not send the picture right through Pixel 2 XL without any intermediaries? Does Android work so poorly on a Twitter client?
The actress, of course, deleted the photo and poured it again, but Brownlee reminded Anushka that all the other posts from the advertising campaign Pixel 2 XL were also sent via the iPhone.
Despite the fact that the error seems to be corrected, Google’s damage has already been done. The person was paid for promoting an excellent product – even the usual Pixel 2 makes very juicy shots. It would seem that it might be easier to advertise a good smartphone? But no, and here you can spoil everything by organizing a circus, as with Nova 3i. I hope no advertising agencies will have any more business with Anushka Sharma.
