Hello, pilot! Today we have an interesting, but an ambiguous drone, from the company JJRC. In fact, this is another toy with questionable functionality, but this description justifies the price of only $ 70. We meet quadrocopter – Tarantula X6, it’s also JJRC H16 Yizhan.
Interesting appearance – it definitely stands out among the other quadrics. His bold design does not seem childish and does not cause disgust. This is a rare success.
Excellent dynamics – as a consequence, good load capacity. Why you need it you will find out later.

Appearance and design
Probably the most important point of the review, and the reason for which I will not smash it.
Designers worked hard at the glory. Dron justifies its name and looks like a futuristic spider.
Thin lines of rays, lightweight protection that is clad in LEDs, like claws, aggressive “eyes” and framing with black plastic, everything is fine in it. I especially like the combination of a dazzling white, glossy case with black, matte inserts.
Dron is perfectly arranged. Protection, despite its seeming fragility, perfectly fulfills the blows and springs. On his feet he stands confidently, they do not interfere, and they look laconically. Even engines and propellers complement the composition, which is a huge rarity.

In the air, the copter behaves stably. Stabilization systems work on hurray. Also, it has phenomenal dynamics, for its price category. Particularly striking is the vertical thrust. With full gas, it is more like a rocket than a copter. I recommend watching video reviews, you will be surprised.

With the regime of “return home” there are serious problems, and you can not trust him.
Firstly, it will not return if communication with the panel is lost. The quad simply turns off the motors and falls to the ground, or into the water (depends on your luck).
Secondly, here it is implemented in a semi-automatic mode. This means that you need to give the command “home” and the drone will take an approximate course in your direction. Next, you have to manage the altitude yourself and adjust the route.

Control panel and transmitter

Collector motors have a small margin of safety, especially high-revving ones, and the pinion can be corrupted by impact, or the edge of the screw.
In drones for 30 bucks, it’s not essential, because you will not use it for more than a few weeks. In this case, it already makes sense to think.
Camera and suspension
Here is an anecdote. You’ve already seen the suspension kit and “protective cases” in the complete set, but there is one nuance … The cameras are not there.
Many questions arise immediately. And why then protective covers for the camera? Why two? What can be inserted into them?
I can not answer you this question. Nobody can. They just have to accept and go on.
I strongly do not understand such a decision, but we have what we have. Load capacity of the spider allows you to easily use GoPro in a protective case. The vibration dampener comes standard and does not save the effect of the jelly. If there is a desire to use a heavier camera, or one that does not stand up in a regular mount, authoritative resources advise using an electrical tape. I do not see there is not one reason they do not trust.
Battery and Charging
The battery, in the best tradition of cheap copters, holds 8-10 minutes, and it charges all 90. The battery pack itself is standard, 2s-1200mah 30c. You can buy more of these batteries, and enjoy long flights.

Preparing for the flight
Special preparation does not require a quad. It may be difficult to activate the headless mode.
For this you need:

The problem is that after take-off headless mode cannot be turned on / off. It is necessary to reset the copter.
Also, remember that the remote control has wind correction buttons. If the drone blows to one side, they can compensate for this.
How to transport
Since Tarantula does not add up, there will be problems with transportation. It is large enough and fragile to not fit in one bag. So it is necessary to carry in the car or to carry in hands, the blessing of a leg or foot are easily removed, and are not obligatory.
Achtung! Before buying, ask the seller to take a picture of the Copter board. There are two options that differ in width. The one that is wider, and stands for white jumpers, has the property of bugging. It twists the revolutions to a maximum and blows the copter in a random direction. The correct board DOES NOT favour the white jumpers in the compartment.

I can not say unambiguously that this is a good choice. There are a lot of flaws in it, which will enrage and prevent you from enjoying the flight. Yes, it costs only $ 70, and its appearance says, that it is justified. In fact, this is not so. Brains and engines in it from drones for 30 bucks. It turns out that if you buy it, you pay for the design (which really can cost this money).
It will be best if it becomes a gift to the child. It is he who will appreciate the aggressive appearance, a bunch of light bulbs and the ability to hang on him everything he wants. And you look at other reviews and choose something more interesting for yourself.
