Smartwatches announced Skagen Falster 2: Danish company Skagen, belonging to the brand Fossil, introduced the second smartwatch from the Falster line. The first generation, working on Wear OS, was stylish and minimalist in design, but had no wide functionality. Skagen Falster 2 solved this problem, leaving all the best that was in the predecessor and adding new features.
The novelty received a heart rate sensor, GPS and NFC modules. Thanks to this, you can track your morning run, and then pay with the clock in the diner and refresh yourself. The device has a very thin bezel, framed by a 1.19-inch display. The thickness of the watch’s case became 2 mm smaller than that of the first generation Falster. The clock will run on an ageing Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip, the successor to which will soon be introduced by Qualcomm. In the clock, as the manufacturer claims, you can swim, although a specific standard of protection is not called.
Smartwatches Skagen Falster 2 will be available in several versions – versions with silicone or leather straps will cost $ 275, but for the version with a metal wire strap will ask for $ 295. The novelty will be on sale on September 12.
