Independent reviews of video cards GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti will be published only on September 19, and meanwhile, our colleagues from VideoCardz shared official data on the level of performance of new products in games and graphics benchmarks.
The results of performance tests are taken from the official brochure for reviewers, which NVIDIA provided together with the test samples. The company NVIDIA always provides such “methodologies” with reference data on the performance of new products. In part, this is done to point out to observers on games in which tests are recommended.
All tests, except for VRMark Cyan Room, were carried out in 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), with the maximum graphics settings. NVIDIA itself notes that the new graphics cards are designed for 4K resolution. NVIDIA benchmark test stands in addition to video cards GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti in the versions of Founders Edition includes: X299 Rampage VI Apex, Core i9-7900X 3.3 GHz, Corsair 16GB DDR4 (no frequency specified), Windows 10 (v1803) and NVIDIA 411.38 driver.
Note that the data presented here was obtained by NVIDIA itself, which means almost ideal test conditions. In addition, various resources use their own proven testing methods, as well as other configurations of test stands. So the results of the independent reviews will be different.
