Back in March, we wrote that in the third quarter of the year, Lenovo was to introduce ThinkPad A285 and A485 laptops based on APU AMD Ryzen Mobile. The third quarter is coming to an end, and the junior model did appear on sale. True, so far only in Japan.
ThinkPad A285 is equipped with APU AMD Ryzen 3 Pro 2200U, Ryzen 5 Pro 2500U and Ryzen 7 Pro 2700U. The maximum amount of SSD is 512 GB, the amount of RAM DDR4-2400 MHz is 16 GB.
The laptop is equipped with matrices TN and IPS resolution 1366 x 768 pixels (in the first case) and 1920 x 1080 pixels – in the second. Moreover, the Full HD matrix can be either conventional or sensory.
Among the interface connectors of the device are two USB 3.1 Type-C ports and two USB 3.0 Type-A, video output HDMI 1.4. There is also a slot for microSD memory cards and a fingerprint sensor.
The dimensions of the laptop – 307.7 x 209.8 x 17.4 mm, weight – from 1.13 to 1.27 kg (depending on the type of screen). In Japan, the cost of new items starts at $ 900, but this is the promotional price for the version with the base APU and the usual screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
