The company announced that it will release a wireless NES controller for the Switch console so that players can play the classic Nintendo games, which will be available through paid subscription. The company will launch its online service like PSN and Xbox Live on September 18. Then there will be access to 20 classic games of the NES era, which subscribers will receive for free. In the future, the catalogue of games is planned to expand.
The new controller will be sold in a bundle of two. The cost of the kit is 59.99 dollars, and it will go on sale in the middle of December this year.
Unfortunately, it seems that the free access kit will not be sold. The site Nintendo says that the purchase of controllers is available only for subscribers to Nintendo Switch Online. The offer is not valid for a trial subscription.
