Microsoft is conducting another update to the Skype interface. After this, the function Highlights, an analog of “stories”, disappears from the application.
As explained by the director of Skype and Outlook design Peter Skillman (Peter Skillman), last year the company tried a number of innovations in design, but users did not like them, because they complicated access to the main functions of the application. He also noted that Highlights were completely unclaimed and did not like the majority of users.
Published highlights users can download until September 30, 2018. In the new design, the developers make an emphasis on the main functions: chats, voice and video calls.
