The device that hit the TENAA database a month ago has the same model number as the current Mi 8 Explorer Edition – M1807E8A, but the documents in the documents are Mi 8 Pro. Another difference is the slightly reduced cutout above the display, which most likely means the absence of a 3D face scanner.
Mi 8 Pro received several configurations: 4/64, 6/128 and 8/256 GB of operating and permanent memory respectively. The processor has not changed compared to the Mi 8 Explorer Edition, it’s the same flagship Snapdragon 845, and the display parameters are a 6.21-inch OLED with a resolution of 2248×1080 pixels.
On the front panel housed 20 Mp self-camera, and on the back side is a system of two 12 megapixel lenses. The smartphone has a fingerprint built into the scanner’s display, not only the capacity of the battery – only 2900 mAh. Of course, the smartphone is running on the latest available operating system – MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
