Samsung phones, such as the Galaxy S9, have a second application store, hidden inside. It’s called Galaxy Apps, it features games, free digital stickers, applications for Samsung DeX and exclusive offers from Samsung partners.
But if you hit the wrong button when you first open Galaxy Apps, you’ll subscribe to advertisements and notifications.
They are different from your usual notifications from applications such as Facebook and Gmail, so you can not turn them off from the usual notification settings menu.[hide]How to disable Samsung Galaxy S9 notifications[/hide]
Fortunately, turning off notifications for Galaxy Apps is not difficult:
Open the Samsung folder.
Open Galaxy Apps.
Click the “hamburger” menu (a button of three points vertically) in the upper right corner.
Click on “Notifications”.
Slide the switch to the “Off” position.
And that’s it!
