Samsung Mobile CEO Dong Jin Ko (DJ Koh) has promised Chinese journalists that the Galaxy S10 smartphone family will receive “very significant changes”. Explaining his words, the head of the company said that he had in mind the design of future flagships.
In further details, Mr Co did not go into, only specifying that at least one new color will appear in the tenth generation of the Galaxy S. Rumors that the Galaxy S10 will receive a new coloring of the hull, appeared in the summer. Its exact name was not reported, but it was said that it would be some variation on the theme of green. Samsung had not offered anything of the kind since 2015 when the emerald green Galaxy S6 Edge was released.
Other changes in the design have not been announced so far, but certainly, there will be more of them than in the S9 in relation to the S8. Currently, Samsung adheres to the “Tick-To” strategy, the essence of which is to release first a large-scale update of the flagships, and the next year – their upgraded versions without radical innovations.
Recall that, according to information leakage, as part of the exhibition MWC 2019, Samsung will release not two, as usual, but three flagship smartphone. The most expensive modification will be equipped with a triple camera and a fingerprint scanner built into the display.
