Trying to find a new job tends to become a stressful and unpleasant process for a person. While some applications, websites, and resources offer various tools to assist in this process, CareerBuilder claims to offer something unique. The company decided to use augmented reality to stand out among its competitors.
The central idea of the job search CareerBuilder AR is that users can send the application to the building and find out what jobs and salaries are available there.
Although this function may not seem so useful, it may be in demand to find work in your area. This also means that those wishing to find a job will be able to hunt for it just like a Pokemon Go Pokemon. Instead of monsters, the user will find something more useful – work.
CareerBuilder also offers an AI-based resume designer that allows users to create a comprehensive resume with just a few clicks. The application can also be automatically applied to new positions in selected companies.
The company behind the application plans to add new features in future updates, such as the ability to earn points for certain activities, such as attracting friends. However, it is not known exactly what you can spend earned points.
The application can also perform targeted job searches at specific map locations, or find jobs that offer a higher salary without the need for additional qualifications or training.
The CareerBuilder application seems to be primarily oriented toward the US labor market, and it is currently unclear whether other regions are supported.
Currently, the application is available for free in the Apple App Store for iOS 10.0 and higher. The Android version of the application is under construction.
