According to readers GSMArena, every time to spend an extra second of time to unlock the smartphone – it’s pointless. This is quite logical, given how many times a day the average user pulls the smartphone out of his pocket.[hide] 2018 Most users prefer a fingerprint scanner [/hide]
Recall that in recent years, smartphone manufacturers are increasingly abandoning the fingerprint scanner in favour of face recognition. This trend was set by Apple with the release of the iPhone X and Face ID technology. Failure is due to the “framelessness” of modern devices – companies are trying to capture the maximum area of the front panel, and the technology of the scanner in the screen still seems “raw”.
At the moment, the ability to unlock the smartphone on the face is present in most flagships of the year. However, vendors such as Samsung, LG, Xiaomi, Huawei and Honor are not as categorical as Apple and offer the user an alternative in the form of a familiar scanner.
