Company Fitbit showed a smart tracker, designed specifically for children – Fitbit Ace. In fact, this is a smaller version of the Alta bracelet.
The device is designed for children from 8 years old and has a standard set of functions for a similar fitness bracelet. It tracks the steps, shows the time and sends push notifications if the child is not physically active for a long time. Certain information, like the number of calories burned, will be available only to parents. In the official application, it became possible to create a “family” account.
Recall that Fitbit Ace is not the first bracelet created for children. In 2014, LeapFrog released a Leapband bracelet designed for children from 4 to 8 years old. Two years later, Garmin introduced the Vivofit Jr Garmin tracker.
Bracelet is available for purchase in two variations: in blue and purple. You can buy the device on Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Fitbit.com at a price of 100 US dollars.
